In June I will be a great-aunt again.  My neice is having another girl.  Over on the BBTB2 blog the challenge for this week is to make a 3d flower from any cart that you have.  I decided to use the FLOWER SHOPPE cart to make my 3d flower.  I used the first cut in the handbook and cut it at 3".

Martha Stewart seasonal cake art cart for MADISON.
I cut an envelope out from the sentimental cart for the pocket for the journaling tags.
I cut the rocking chair from the cricut cart Kate's ABC's.

Since I did her first daughters book in pink,  Aimee decided for Madison that her's will be in purple.  I had this pattern paper and I really liked the flowers in the blue.

I will have to wait until after Madison is born to be able to put the pic, so this is a naked Lo.  I really enjoyed making this LO for my new great-neice.

Over on FCCB the challenge this week is  "FUN WITH PUNS."   Which is basically self explanatory.  I've never been very good with puns, so I took inspiration from different blogs and looked at different sayings on the projects that have already been posted.  I had gotten  some bear sentiments from Mary  CardzTV when I had gotten the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  I new I could use one of the stamps for this challenge.

Over on the blog site. RED CARPET STUDIO  the challenge this week is a card challenge.  If you haven't been over there g o and take a look.  Each week the challenge is different.  One week  is a LO, the next is a card.  This week the challenge is
This week's card challenge is to create either a wedding or anniversary card! Our challenge is inspired by "The Wedding Singer."
I decided to make this card and i was able to enter it in both challenges.  I cut the Teddy Bears out @ 3.25 inches. and the Layers. I stamped the frame from one set of stamps that I had gotten from a fellow crafter  Terri. Then I stamped the "I love you Beary Much with Mary's stamps.  My card is a 5x7 .  The pattern paper is from Making Memories Wedding paper stack 8x8 that I had gotten from HL. The flowered ribbon I had in my stash.  I added some gems that I had gotten from M's.  I also put these on the Brides dress.  The flower for her bouquet is from M's $ bin.
click on the picture to make it bigger to get a close up of her dress.  I also ran her dress ands veil through the cuttlebug using the Anna Griffin folder called POPPY.
thanks for loooking and have a great week.
I chose to use flowers embossing ribbon .  I used the Teddy Bear Parade cart for my die cut The Bride and Groom.

First off I want to Thank Suzanne for letting me partly scraplift her page that she taught at her LSS  "SCRAPBOOK BLESSINGS".  I fell in love with the graphic45 papers and the chipboard pieces and the extra page with the different cutouts that you can decorate your page with.   I used almost all the cutouts either on the top page and then on the claender grid I use some of the other pieces.   I made the post card into a pocket for the tags.

I'm entering this into the Lasting Memories .  the challenge this week is "PLAYFUL POCKETS".  I used the postcard to make my pocket for my tags.

I'm also going to enter this in Laurie's the challenge is "USE A KIT".

thanks for looking and have a great Day.  Click on the picture to look more closely.

I still have to put the Days of the week and the numbers, but the main part of the page is done.

Another challenge that I was able to do this week in over on My Craft Spot  This week the challenge was to make a project with "FLOWERS"  If you not familiar with Kimberly's blog hop over there and see what amazing projects that the DT has created.
I used Flower Shoppe for my rolled flowers.  After watching a couple of videos I was able to make my flowers.  I found the stamped sentiment in my many stamps that I have.  No particular order either. LOL  The ribbon is from M's.  The pattern paper is from Graphic 45 The Secret Garden 6x6 paper stack.  This is so pretty.  I'm thinking about ordering the 12x12 paper stack.

I really like the way my card came out.
Thanks for looking ans have a great day.

This will be my last post and challenge for this week.  (I think) over on BBTB2 the challenge is to use the birth stone color for Febuary which is amethyst.  You are to use the color  PURPLE.  You are to either use a cupcake or cake from any cricut cart.  I decided to cut a cake and make it a SWEET 16.  After I started doing it it looked to fancy but I'm going to post it any way.
Here is the finished card.
My cake was cut from the cricut cart "FROM MY KITCHEN"
I cut it @ 4" I use purple glitter and made it to look like frosting.  The roses were in my stash. I used a scallop punch and printed Happy Birthday also in the color Purple.  I used some purple ribbon.  Sweet 16 is also purple.

Here is the inside of my card.  This was a stamp that I had in my stash and I reprinted it off of my computer also in Purple.
thanks for looking and if you get a chance hop over the BBTB2 blog and see what the amazing DT has come up with for this challenge.  Have a great nite.

Shaped card

Good monday to everyone.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  I have a shaped card that I did for the FCCB   The challenge for this week is "KISS THE COOK".  I decided to do a jar for pickles.  I cut the Jar from the cricut cart FROM MY KITCHEN @ 6 ".  I cut it twice then glued the top together.  I used  Baker's Twine fro the lid on the Jar.  The pickle was cut from "JUST BECAUSE" cards @ 5".  The pun was printed off my computer.  The inside i put the smaller cut for the kinside sentiment.

Thanks for looking.

First off I  hope everyone had a great Valentine's day.  Hope everyone got lots of hearts and flowers and of course CHOCOLATE.  My DH  know that I'm a huge Lousiville Cardinal basketball fan.  I wanted to show you what he got me.   I LOVE THEM  and of couse I LOVE MY DH

Lover on Lasting Memories LO blog this week the challenge is "NUMBERS". You are to make a LO and use numbers.  My youngest is going to have baby and My granddaughter is also.   I decided to do this LO of my grandson.  My daughter is due May 10th.  Great-Grandson is due July 4th.  Here is what I decided to do with the challenge.

The pattern paper that I used is from The Recollections paper pad called BLACK AND WHITE.  this stack is 8.5 x 11.  I used checkered paper for my background.  I matted the ultra sounds pictures on black cardstock.  The teddy bear is from the TEDDY BEAR PARADE cricut cart.  I cut the bear and all the pieces out @ 3".  The 21 WEEKS is cut from the ALPHABET preloaded cart on my E2 @ 2".  ITS a BOY was cut from  NEW ARRIVAL (retired) cricut cart @ 1.25"  I like the way it came out with just using blue for the title and the clothes.  This is the first time that I have actually done anything black and white.

My second post for today if also for another challenge.  Over on Laurie's blog HIMCR .  this week's challenge is Technique week.  This week we are to try  EMBOSSING.   My daughter had seen this card in my cardmaking magazine and wanted to know if I would make this for her to give to her niece (my grandaughter) who is having a baby in July.  Here is my card.  I will tell you what all I used after i post it.

For the front of the card I used  ANNA GRIFFIN  embossing folder MATELASSE.  I took my colored pencils and used pastel colors and colored the rectangles. After I did this I adhere it to the front of an A2 card base with different colored cardstock cut in rectangles also.

The Umbrella was cut from the  APRIL SHOWERS cricut seasonal cart.  I sized it in the CCR. I embossed this also with the cricut cuttlebug embossing folder called FABRIC SWATCHES SET.

I used the cricut cart  NEW ARRIVAL for the scalloped square.  I used the blackout feature key for the cut and then came back and cut out the baby scalloped squares to get the lettering BABY.  I cut the duck from the same cart..
I used BAKER'S TWINE  for the strings to hang my squares from.  I used some brads from my stash and also some buttons.
The inside of the card is the rattle from NEW ARRIVAL cart also.  My picture doesn't do the card justice, but I really do love the way it came out.

Thanks for looking and have a great week everyone.

Be Mine!!!!!!

I made this Valentine card for the BBTB2 Challenge for this week.     The challenge for this week is "Love is in the Air"
You are to use a heart or cupid on your project.

The  base of the card is from Elegant Edges cricut cart.  I used scallop2 on page 24.  I cut out 2 @ 5".  Then I selected the Frame key and cut one @ 5".  I cut out some pattern paper with hearts that I had in my stash.  I've had this papoer so long that I don't even remember where I got it from.  The heart is the middle is from CAC2 page 35.   I used the Icon feature and the Icon Layer key.

The   "BeMine"  is cut in the CCR using Kate's ABC's cricut cart.   I also used some buttons in my stash.
The flower strip in the right hand side is some ribbon that I had in my stash.

The pink scallop frame that I used on top was a little off center because I wanted some of the white to show.

Thanks for taking a look.   I've also found this blogsite called They have a challenge every two weeks.  *I'm going to have to go read more and see the cool projects that there design team does.

Good Morning                For those on the East coast enduring this major snow storm Please be safe and listen to what your emergency workers and officials are saying about staying in. Prayers going out your way.

As most of us are in the swing of making Valentine cards or projects I have been doing the CAC2 series that Stacey  has been doing on her blog.  She is making cards from this cart.  I also was checking different blogs and I came across this one blog that Linda from had suggested.  Stamptv I found some very cool projects on the site.  Thanks Linda.  I made something from the blog.  I'm not done with it so that will be from another post.
I love to see what Angie she is making.  On her blog I found these cute Valentine baskets that she had made.  My DH and I are going to see the boys todays.  I made these Baskets and filled them  with candy.  I probably over-filled.  I posted there cards in the last post so I won't repost them.  The pattern paper that I used was from one of my crafting friends.
Terri    Thanks Terri this was perfect for the boys baskets. Not too mushy for 4 and 5 year olds. I used my scallot punch for the one side.  I used a button and some bakerstwine on the one. I cut a 1" circle from the Essentials cart that is preloaded on my E2.  These were alot of fun and very easy to make.
Thanks for looking and have a great day..

I just wrote the boys names on the back with a scallop circle punch.

I entered these in the Die Cutting Diva's challenge for this week.
