Over on FBBC blog http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com The challenge for this week is too make a card with polka Dots. The card I made is not my idea.  Mary from CardzTV had made this card.  I liked the S fold that she made and the Bat .  I think I used PDDU cart for the bat and Goerge Basic for the circles.  The pattern paper I used was some paper that I had gotten at walmart.  The buttons are actually clay flowers that I had gotten when I went to The Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County, Ind.  in Bridgeton.  I like the way this came out.  I'm entering this in the challenge.  If you haven't see there blog hop on over abd see what the talented DT has come up with.

I also and entering this in My Craft Spot challenge http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com which is any Halloween project.

Everyone on the Eastern coast and inland, please be safe and remeber that we are all sending prayers and good thought at to you.

Covered Bridge

Hi hope everyone had a great day and even better week.  I've been working on this dbl page LO since Sunday.  I finally finished it. I'm entering this over at "Lasting Memories" http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com  challenge.

The challenge is DOUBLE TAKE.  Who were to take two pictures of the same thing or similiar.  Well I knew what it meant, but the brain and eyes weren't making the connection.  I guess i could call that a Senior Moment?
Any way Last week I was in Parke County Ind at the Covered Bridge Festival.  This was my 14th of going.  I love all the different things that you can see.  My favorite place is Bridgeton, Ind.

In 2005 the original covered bridge was set on fire by an arsonist. By Oct 1st 2006 the new Bridgeton Covered bridge was built. The first page of the dbl page LO it How the Bridge was rebuilt.  The second page is of the different view of the Bridge that I took  this year when I was there.

The 12x12 paper is from DCWV Autumn Melody paper stack.  I love all the papers in this stack. I just added some bling that I had in my stash.  I used the ccr Basics for the Title.   Thanks for taking a look.

Frankie and Bride treet box.

I made this treet bag from watching chicnscratch video on utube.  She had made these back on Sept 3 2010  I wanted to leave a link but for some reason it won't work.  The bag was called Fangtastic treat bag made from mini lunch bags.  I didn't have any mini lunch bags so I used what I had and cut them down.
The challenge at My Craft Spot http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com is to make a project with a monster. I'm entering my treat bag in the challenge.  I used Happy Hauntings for Frankinstien and his bride,.  thanks for looking and have a great week.

Crisscross Pocket Card

Good morning.  The sun is shining and the temperture is going to be around 70 today.  Indian summer I think is with us. The  colors are in full  mode.  Hope that everyone can get put and see the work of God this beautiful morning.  Enought rambling.
This is totaly not my idea.  I got theinspiration for this card from Lorraine http://cardcreationsbylorraine.blogspot.com.   She is amazing.  If you have never seen her cards or visited her blog you need to hop over there and see what amazing cards that she does.  I love every thing that she does. She even does videos on most of her projects. Her videos are great!!!!!

This card that I made is a crisscross pocket easel card.  All the papers that I used are from DCWV The Fall and Halloween Stack that I had gotten from Michaels.  The witch is from the Teddy Bear Cart cut @ 3.5" and the layers also. I used all scraps for the witch and the cauldrin which is from the Happy Hauntings cart.  The Phrase Beware is also from the Happy Hauntings cart.  The spider is from ????  I think its from PDDU cart, but not sure.  It was in my precut stash.  The candy bars are too little for this, so I'm going to purchase bigger ones for this card.   Or I'm going to use it for a gift card and I will make a gift card holder to go in the pocket.  Thanks again Lorraine for the great video and the inspiration for the pocket card.  thanks for taking a look and everyone have a great day.

Halloween projects.

Happy Monday nite everyone.  Hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to get some crafting in.  The weather was cool here in Western Ky, but the sun was shining and with the trees staeting to turn it was "Beautiful" outside and "BRIGHT". I was checking out my updates on U-Tube when I came across chicnscratch's u-tube site.    http://www.mychicnscratch.com

This project that i watched her do was from Sept 3rd, 2010.  I really liked the way she did her bags.  I didn't have the right size bags, so I used what I had.  Mine are alot bigger, but I do like the way they came out. I used pattern paper that I had in my stash and also the ribbon.  The cart that I used was mini monsters.  The witch was cut at 2.5".  The spider was cut @ 1.5" I can't remember the name of the punch that I used on the flap for the spider.  I used some stickles for the spider web I used some gems for the eyes.

I nclosed the box with velcro  I used a MS drippy Doo punch on the witch. When I took the picture you can see chicnscratch utube video going on my pc.

challenges

Hi Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I have a couple projects that I'm going to post tonight for 3 different challenges.  The first challenge is http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com. The challenge this week is TREE. Make a project with a tree.  The tree has to be cut from your cricut.
I'm also entering this LO in the "Lasting Memories"  This challenge is AUTUMN SPLENDOR.

The tree is cut at 9" from the Cindy Loo cart. I trimmed the leaves off of the tree and used a leaf punch that I had gotten from M's. The Base paper that I used is from the AUTUMN MELODY  paper stack by DCWV. I got this from Joann's when I was in Joliet, Il last month.  I love this Stack. it has some very pretty paper .  The picture mats are also in this stack.  It hard to see in the picture with the pics.  I will post that below with out the pictures.
To tell the truth, I liked the LO better without the pictures.  AUTUMN LEAVES is from Kate's ABC's. I did  this in the ccr room  Thanks for taking a look.

The 3rd challenge is FCCB  http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com.  The challenge is BREAST CANCER AWARENESS.  The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness has most of us know.  All of us have known oe know of someone rhat is fighting this battle.  Most have either won or are still fightening.  Unfortunatly I lost two sister-n-laws from this decease.  I have a friend that so far is winning her battle. She past her one year mark.  The challenge was to use the color pink.  I made a center stair step card.  The pink ribbon is from Stand up and Salute cart.  Hope is from the Home Decor solution cart cut twice to make it more sturdy. The flowers are made from pink vellum paper.
Thanks for looking.
