Family

My Husband and I spent a couple of days at his sister's house.  Thursday we had a family get together so Larry could spend some time with his brothers and sisters.  My Husband in the picture is the one with the light blue shirt.   Most of you know that my DH has stage 4 lung cancer.  He is going thru treatments and so far it is working.  In  this picture from left to right.  Ruby, Mary, Larry (my hubby), Sam.  He has another brother, but he left before we could get the picture.

My Husband recieved these from a friend  that loves to give flowers.  She was going to give him another kind of flower, but when she saw these she love them.  Its also my DH's favorite color.

Center Step Card

I've been wanting to make a Center Step Card for awhile.  I watched a video on Splitcoaststampers on how to make this card.  It was alot simplier than I thought it would be.  I really enjoyed making this card.
The paper that I used was from K&Company Specialty paper.  The illistrator of this paper Pack is Susan Winget.  There is some very Pretty paper in this pack.  I  made some vellum flowers with purple and teal.  I love the colors that are available in vellum. I used a MS punch for my single Trellis to put the flowers on each side of the card.

The butterfly in the center of the scallops is from the Alaphabet Cort that is preloaded on my AE2. I cut it @ 2" The top layer was cut on some embossed paper that I had gotten at M's. The two scalloped circles are cut from the Lacy Lables cart.  The stamp is from the $bin at M's
Thanks for taking a look and have a safe week.

Cardinal card and Butterfly card

Here are two cards that I made from Looking at Linda (Nothing Fancy) blog spot.  She had made these cards and I really like how they came out.  Thanks Linda for the inspiration on making these cards.  The cricut cuts are all from Lacey Lables.  I never knew these cuts were on this cart until I saw Linda's blog. I  used the branch folder  and rounded the corners of my card. the saying was computor generated.

Reagan's Room

My great neice will be one years old on May 18th.  She will be getting to move into her new room, instead of the room that  is considered the nursery.  I made this plaque to go on her door.

The Font I used is LL's.  I used the JUMBO function key.  I welded the letters togeter in the ccr.  I love using the craft room for welding.  In fact that is what I use it the most for.  The Plaque I got at M's and painted it Pink.   The white lettering was going to be a practice cut to make sure that it would fit on the Plaque.  I decided to use the white as a shadow and the the pink  and off set it to make REAGAN'S ROOM stand out a little more.  I used some bling that I had gotton as M's.  I used some Ribbon that I had also gotten at M's.  I will be delivering this ansd also the project that I will be showing tomorrow on my blog for her birthday party that Larry and I will be going to over Memorial Day weekend.

Many Looks

My great neice has a few looks.  she has her serious look,  smiling,  the fiesty look,  My favorite look tho is the Ignoring look.  She has this look that she wiull do when she doesn't want to look at you or do any thing.   Here is the LO.
I cut strips of pattern paper to make the frames around the pictures. The border at the top was a punch that I had, not sure what its called. The flowers around the frames are vellum flowers that I used a punch I cut two of the flowers and layered then. I took some gems and put them in the middle of the flowers.  The words are all from the Paisley Cart.  Thanks for taking a look.

Family

Hey all my blogger friends.  Hope yall had a great weekend.  It was very warm here in Western, Ky.  I decided that 90 degree weather and the high humidity was just the right weather for me to stay in and craft.  So I did.  I got two more pages done for my great neices scrapbook.  Its hard to believe that she is going to be one on May 18th.  My oldest told me last nite that I"m  going to have every month of her life scrapbooked.  I laughed and said yea  your right!
This page is of my niece Aimee who is a nurse, her husband Dan who is in the Army Reserves, and Reagan. She has the look as I call it, like oh no another picture.  This is her serious look.
I posting this in the Lasting Memeories Challenge for this week which is Medal.  Medal embellshments on your project. http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com/"

Family is from the preloaded cricut cart Alaphabet.  I used the ccr to weld the letters together. I had this medal key in my stash that I wanted to use. The purple flowers are from the JUST A NOTE preloaded cart.  The flower with the medal brad was in my stash. The ribbon was from M's.  I really like the way this page came out.
I apologize for the picture quality not good for some reason.   LOL   I think maybe my camers was suffering from the heat.

BABYS FIRST BIRTHDAY AND A GET WELL SOON

Hi Hope everyone had a great day.  We are having summer like weather here in Western Ky. Hot and Humid and the algery counts are so high.  I've been staying in because of the weather and making cards to stack up on my stash.  I needed two Birthday cards for a one year old.  All the cards that I'm posting are all made from scraps that I have. ( I HAVE A VERY LARGE TOTE OF SCRAPS.)
I used BABY STEPS for the little girl and happy first birthday.  The pink scollop was from LACEY LABLES (i think) The ribbon is from walmart that I had in my stash.

The cupcake card is also from BABY STEPS. The number 1 is from Alphabet, that is preloaded on my anniversary E2.  happy birthday is a stamp that i had gotten with a set from SU.  I used my scallop punch to cut out the sentiment.  This was also done with all scraps.

All from scraps.  the frog is from CAC  The scallop circles are from LACEY LABLES.
