Happy Easter

Good morning to all my crafty friends. Hope your day has started out great. Its really pretty in in western KY. I think the whole state is gearing up for the showdown of UK and Louisville basketball game. I'm rooting for Louisville. Thats my team, even tho i was raised in Illinois. My blog project today is an Easter card that I'm entering in the BBTB2 challenge for this week. http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com
You were suppose to use a flourish from the Cindy Lou cart or any flourish from another cart if you didn't have the Cindy Lou cart. I do have this cart, but I had to get it back from my DD. She loves this cart alot. I used the flourish on page 70 I really like this cut. I used the EASTER 2010 cart for HAPPY EASTER. I had some lavender ribbon in my stash that I used. The pattern paper I had in my stash, don't know where I got it from.
Hope you like the way it came out.

"WELCOME"

This projct took me about two weeks to do it. I love the way it came out.
the flowers are from JUST A NOTE preloaded cart on my anniversary E2.
WELCOME is from the Sentimental cart. I cut chip board out twice, flipping one. then I cut two more out of white cardstock to make it more sturdier. Then the pattern paper I cut two of, flipping one. The foam wreath i got from M's and I wrapped it with some pastel green yarn that I had. I used my scraps that I had to make the flowers in different sizes. The butterflies are from M's. I have it hanging on my front door. Even tho it took longer than I thought it would, I'm really happy with the way it came out. I'm adding this link for the BBTB2 http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com

Another Easter LO

As most of you know I have 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. The granddaughters will be 18 and 20 this summer, so of course they don't want to hang out with grandma as much. I knew I needed a boy dbl page LO of Easter, because the boys don't want to be posted on a pink and green Easter pages. I posted these on the cricut mb but I wanted to post these here today.

Carts that I used
Happy Easter= EASTER 2010
The 3 Bunnies= EASTER 2010
Rabbit= CAC

The pattern paper used for the picture matts are from The Paper Studio ALL SEASONS II

Here is a closer look of the two pages.

Thanks everyone in advance for your comments. They mean so much to me.

I have one more project that I will post tomorrow. This one was fun to make, but also took awhile. That is all I will be saying about this right now. Have a great day and do some crafting if you can.

Blooms

I feel like I've been gone forever. Its been over a week since I posted anything on my blog. I've been doing some projects and was hoping to be able to post this one on the FCCB But didn't get it finished until about an hour ago. So I will post it here and also over on the cricut mb.
I entered this is the Lasting Memories Challenge

The sky paper is from DCWV Photoreal Seasonal Stack. The grass paper is from the same Stack.

House is from April Showers. I really like this cart. If you have this cart take a look at all the different cuts and the phrases. Lots of things for spring.

Wagon, flower pots, flowers in pots are from Kate's ABC I welded the little flowers in the ccr. BLOOMS is also from Kate's ABC also welded in ccr

Flowers in the flower bed are from the Mother's Day Bouquet.

The photo mats are off sizes. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted them, but by making them small and where I put them, I think they will look good.

I also used my cuddlebug to emboss the roof and the window. I forgot the name of this folder. I need to write down the name of the folder when I take it out of the package so I will know what it is. I hope you liked my LO as I really liked doing it. Even tho it took me 4 days to do it.

Welcome Spring.

I made this scrapbook page with no place to put any pictures. I'm thinking about doing a seasons album. I live in Western Ky and so many things have happened here for instance the Ice storm of 2009. It furtually shut down Western Ky. We went 10 days with out electric. some ppl were with ut electric for a month or more. This happened in January (Winter) then in May of 2011 we had flood. Water levels rose to 57' above flood stage. (Spring).

so as you can see many things happen. Even tho these things that happend are bad, ther ae so many things that are good.

Here is the page that will be the start of things that happened in Spring.

The flower pots are from Kate's ABC The flowers are vellum. The punch I used is an EK Success punch.

The clouds were cut from The cart April Showers. This cart isn't a full cart, but it has some really good cuts on it. I used my swiss dots folder to give then some depth.

The tree is also from the April Showers cart also.
The Font is also from April Showers.

The House is from the WinterWoodland cart. I live in a two-story old farm house with lots of windows. This house reminds me of my house.

Thanks for taking a look and in the future I will be showing other pages with different things that happened in different seasons. Some will be what went on where I live. I have pictures of the huge snow storm that happened last winter in the Chicago area. I will be using these pics for the winter pages.
Have a good week and be safe.

Thanks for all the comments that you left. I really appreciated all the comments. Below is the 2nd page. I'm going to show the second page and then the 2 pages together. Then I will tell you what all I used.

Now both pages together

Most of the cuts are from the cart PDDU The Shamrocks for the banner was cut @ 1.5" and also the two Shamrocks on the bottom of page 2. I used Bakers Twine.for the banner string. I punched some vellum flowers to hide the ends of the Bakers Twine. The gold pot was cut @ 5" The rainbow is from Spring Holiday Cards cart. I used the first cut of the rainbow for the rainbowx3. I used glitter to cover the white card stock that i used. The picture mats are all different sizes. The pattern paper is from The Paper Studio stack called All Seasonal II.
The Leprachaun on page one is a free clip art down load. I didn't write down the web site, so I don't know where it came from, because i can't find it now. I really enjoyed making the dlb LO once i figured what I wanted to do. But of course I changed a few things after I started doing it.

Saint Patrick's Day LO

I've been working on the bl page LO for the last 2 days. I have changed my mine three different times on what I was going to do. I finally decided on the first page and went ahead an finished it before I changed my mine.

I used design calender for the shamrocks. I used bakers twine to hold the shamrocks. I made some vellum flowers for the ends of the twine, (I going crazy making vellum flowers, I love making them). I had some gold lettering that my DD had given me for Christmas last year and thought they would look good on the shamrocks. The leperchaun is a clip art that I found on the web that was free. I just cut to make the shape stand out with using the white card stock that I had printed it on. I hope to have page 2 done to show tomorrow nite then Thursday nite I will show the 2 pages together. thanks for visiting my blog. i appreaciate all the comments and encouragment that you guys send. Here is the first page.

Here is a closer look at the shamrock banner.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This will be my second post today. I made this Saint Patrick's Day card using the PDDU cart, Everything on the front is from this cart. The pot was cut @5". I used gold glitter for the top of the pot. The rainbow was cut by hand. I used my Creative Memories circle cutters to make 1/2 moon circles. I don't know what size or how big I made them, because they were made bigger, then I cut them down. I inked the edges to give it some dimensions. The Leprachaun was cut @4" I used Peachy Keen everyday faces for the face on my Leprachaun. I used stickles on his shoes and also on his hat buckle. The sentiment was computor generated as was the inside sentiment. I chalked the mat that I cut from essentals, preloaded on my E2. Thanks for looking.

Another card, I'm on a roll

Hi This card was made for my great nephew that is turning 13 on the 6th

I embossed the matt and used LL 13. I don't remember where I got the background paper, but I thought it went with the card.

I also did this card with the monogram This birthday card will be given to another great=nephew on his Birthday. The # and the M was all cut from the cart LL. I use this card a lot for the JUMBO feature key.
