I made this scrapbook page with no place to put any pictures. I'm thinking about doing a seasons album. I live in Western Ky and so many things have happened here for instance the Ice storm of 2009. It furtually shut down Western Ky. We went 10 days with out electric. some ppl were with ut electric for a month or more. This happened in January (Winter) then in May of 2011 we had flood. Water levels rose to 57' above flood stage. (Spring).
so as you can see many things happen. Even tho these things that happend are bad, ther ae so many things that are good.
Here is the page that will be the start of things that happened in Spring.
The flower pots are from Kate's ABC The flowers are vellum. The punch I used is an EK Success punch.
The clouds were cut from The cart April Showers. This cart isn't a full cart, but it has some really good cuts on it. I used my swiss dots folder to give then some depth.
The tree is also from the April Showers cart also.
The Font is also from April Showers.
The House is from the WinterWoodland cart. I live in a two-story old farm house with lots of windows. This house reminds me of my house.
Thanks for taking a look and in the future I will be showing other pages with different things that happened in different seasons. Some will be what went on where I live. I have pictures of the huge snow storm that happened last winter in the Chicago area. I will be using these pics for the winter pages.
Have a good week and be safe.
Vickie this is so darn cute. This would even be cute in a frame- a change it out for the seasons. Love the vellum flowers and the cute little house. I love the idea of your book.
ReplyDeleteOh Vickie I love this lo!!! It is a great front page to an album about the weather!! We get some weird weather as well, but we have been lucky as we have never lost our electric for very long. Just a few hours, so very, very lucky!!
ReplyDeleteVickie, I have another blog award for you my friend. You can pick it up on my blog like before.
