Happy Birthday

 I used Birthday Bash for the card shape.  Also for the circle. Lacey Lables for the sentiment mat.  I got the idea for this card from Mary (CardzTv)  I used Bakers Twine for the middle instead of ribbon.   The roses are from Lorraine (CARDSCREATIONS)
I didn't have any polka dot paper, so I made my own. I used my swiss dot cuddlebug folder, then took a black marker and colors the raised dots.  I used Cricut Essentials preloaded cart from my E2 anniversary edition to make the leaves for the roses. The bow is some ribbon that I had in my stash. I added some gems for bling on the Sentiment.  The Happy Birthday is a stamp from SU.

Here is another card that I made from watching a video at Mary (CARDZTV)  This was lot of fun.  I used Birthday Bash,  Bakers Twine.  I printed out the sentiment from Mary's Stamps that she has for sale.  I haven't been able to get any yet, but I wanted to use the same sentiment, so I computer generated it.

 

Lets Ride

I made this LO of my grandsons riding there bikes.  I used EDP for the bikes and I wanted them to look like theirs, so I pieced them together with the colors of there bikes. I'm entering this is the FCCB challenge ="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/"

I posted my LO on the cricut message board.  I reallky had fun making this LO of my great neice. I was really stumped on a Title, but a very good crafting friend gave me the idea of using the Title that I ended up using.

Here is my 2 page Lo that I made for FCCB challenge this week. April Shower. You have to used an umbrella, clouds, or rain. I used EDP cart for the boy and girl. Clouds are from the April Showers cart. The saying is also from the April Showers cart. The second page I did with the Nursery Rhymes cart. This is only the second time I've used this cart. April Garden is from the April Showers cart. The small umbrella is also from the April Showers cart also. I popped dotted the clouds and I also cut 2 for each cloud to give some depth . I also popped dotted the people. I've thought about this project since Monday, and I started this late Thursday nite and finished yesterday. I kept changing my mind on what i wanted to do. The plants and trees are actually in my yard. Because of all the weird weather. They all started blooming in March. We have had no rain for April. I made this card for my neice Aimee. Her Daughter(Reagan) will be turning one on May 18th and Aimee . Twants to send out these thank you cards from her. Thanking everyone for what they had given her. I used the Baby Steps cart. I cut the #6 toddler @3". The thankyou was cut from the NEW ARRIVAL cart@2".

Altogether my sister and I made 45 cards and envelopes. Here is what 45 cards and envelopes llok like. It took us about 10 hours altogether to make these.

Hope everyone is having a good morning. the sun is shining here, but a little cool. I've been doing some cards that I will entering in some of the challenges. Hi

Hi I hope everyone had a very nice weekend and a Happy Easter. My oldest daughter and her hubby and my oldest grandsons came for dinner yesterday. It was nice. Krystal and I of course talked scrapbooking while the boys listened. My DH SIL watched the Cubs game. All-in-All it was a very nice day, the weather was just as nice.
I did finish my project that I was working on. I love the All-in-one stationary box and there are so simple to put together. There are number of tutorials on u-tube. My favorite one is from http://danniesdesigns.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/09/stationery-box.html Her video tutorial is very easy to follow. If you get a chance look at the video if you can. Its an old one but to me its the best. The date is Sept 9th 2008. Here is the completed project. The pattern paper is from a paper stack that I got from HSN when the annivery E2 was debuting. HSN also had this paper stack and I loved alot of the paper that was in it.
