The Lasting Memories   blog challenge this week is "ONE COLOR".  This challenge is completely out of my element.  I like to use different colors on my LO's so this was very different for me.
I'm going to post my picture first then I will tell you what carts i used.

First I want to aplogize for the fuzziness of my picture.  I changed a setting on my camera and can't figure out how to get it back.
My background paper is a solid blue that I had in my stash.  I used different shades of the blue for all my other embellishments.  The crayons are from the Simply Charmed cart. The Preschool and the numbers are from the new CTMH ArtBooking cart. I welded my letters for Preschool in the ccr.

The handsome man inn my picture is my grandson Dalton in his preschool class.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

  1. I hope you can get your camera setting back to normal. I let the kids play around with mine and got some interesting alien pictures. I do get the overall feel of the layout and you did a great job sticking to just one color

  2. Hi Vickie! This is out of my comfort zone to and I am sure a lot of others. It's a tough one but you did a great job with it! As for your camera setting, can you set it back to original settings from the menu screen? Thank you for joining our "One Color" challenge at Lasting Memories this week

  3. you did an awesome job for being "out of your element". Thanks for joining us at lasting memories.
PS: I hope you get your camera figured out, I did that once and it took a lot of playing around before I figured it out.

  4. Monochromatic is so hard when you aren't used to it. Well done! Thank you for sharing with us at Lasting Memories!

  5. You're not alone. This challenge is also not so easy for me. I also use to make a colourful LO. But you did great with this page. Thank you for joining us at Lasting Memories Challenge this week.
