Happy Birthday

 I used Birthday Bash for the card shape.  Also for the circle. Lacey Lables for the sentiment mat.  I got the idea for this card from Mary (CardzTv)  I used Bakers Twine for the middle instead of ribbon.   The roses are from Lorraine (CARDSCREATIONS)
I didn't have any polka dot paper, so I made my own. I used my swiss dot cuddlebug folder, then took a black marker and colors the raised dots.  I used Cricut Essentials preloaded cart from my E2 anniversary edition to make the leaves for the roses. The bow is some ribbon that I had in my stash. I added some gems for bling on the Sentiment.  The Happy Birthday is a stamp from SU.

Here is another card that I made today.   I have a hard time trying to make masculine cards.  This was a

was a very simple card to make.  I used EPD cart for the truck and also for the road.  Happy Birthday was a stamp that i had in my stash.

Here is another card that I made from watching a video at Mary (CARDZTV)  This was lot of fun.  I used Birthday Bash,  Bakers Twine.  I printed out the sentiment from Mary's Stamps that she has for sale.  I haven't been able to get any yet, but I wanted to use the same sentiment, so I computer generated it.

To continue with my series, here is another card from the cut on page 32. 

The card base is a standard A2 card base. The elephant is cut @ 3.5".  The phrase is cut @ 1.75".  I used a button from my stash, and some Baker's twine.

Tomorrow I hope to be able to post another card from the same page using the card/tag feature.
Tomorrow is going to be very busy for my D H.   he has to have a port put in the morning, then his radiation tomrrow afternoon.  Times like this is when I wish I could have been able to afford the gypsy,  this way the time would go faster.  one day i will.

Birthday Bash card

Hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to get some crafting in.  i made another card from Birthday Bash  that I want to share.  I haven't put a sentiment on it yet, because I'm not sure if I want to put the phrase with the snail or not.  The phrase says Best Wishes, but I don't think I want it on the front. So for now its blank.  the snail is cut @ 3.5"   

i told some friends of mine over on cricut.com on the mb  that my brain was on pause.  If you looked at my blog before you saw that i had forgot to post the picture.
So here is the picture.

The card base was a mistake on the card/tag feature, which one I'm not sure.  I decided to use it as the base for this card.

Birthday Bash #7

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Our weather here in Western Ky was beautiful.  Spring like weather.  But the next two days is going to reminds us that its Jan and winter. I'm continuing my series using the cart Birthday Bash.  Here is the card using the card/tag feature for #7 The first one I actually did this in the ccr.  The second card I did just using my cricut.  I will show you one card w/o the #7 and one with the #7.  Thanks for looking.

I thought I would also post the other two cards that I made for the bird on page 23.  I used the phrase key and the >shift< key for the last card.  The LOOK WHO'S  is the font keys with letters.  The number 3 is the font key from page 23.  The balloons are from the Layer 2 key with the puple balloon using the >shift< key.

The first card is the fox.  I did the fox, the Layer1 key>shift< key , then i used the Layer2 and the >shift< key.   The card is the middle is the card/tag feature.  Still have to figure out sizing for this. The star is the card/tag >shift< key. The 3rd card is the phrase key and the font key 4.

Here is a better look at the card/tag card.  Like said before I have to learn the sizing for this feature.

I used the tag cut @5" i think.  I cut off the tails, because I didn't want them there and just used the base for the card.  I used the font key for the number 2 and the layer2 key for the presents.  I popped dotted everything to give it for demention.  I also used the >shift< key on the card/tag feature for its your birthday and cut it at 2" .  I used all the cuts on this page except the @mark.  I wasn't sure where to use it so I didn't cut it out.

these cards are very simple but you could add bling and really make them pop.  Thanks for looking.    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

Brithday bash

Well I sure hope everyone had a gret Christmas.  I for one am glad that it's over. I decided to do another card for my Birthday Bash card series.  I started looking at the hand book and realized that you can make 2 different cards from one page.  The first card that I made was the one that I'm showing below.

The card below is from the same page but using the phrase key and shift phrase you get this cut and you can make a complete different card.

Then using the font key or the shadow font key you can get the same card but changing it alittle.  Here is the same card with a new look.

Now that I have looked more closely at the hand book, I will go back and do another card for 2,3,4,5,6

I hope you all will take a look at your handbooks a little better.  I know I will.

This is my second post for today.  This is card number 7 for my BB card series.  I made 2 different cards.

I made this card from BB for http://bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com Challenge. This week's challenge was "candle"  Use a candle on your project.  I decided to go out of order on BB and made card #32.  The
 candle on page 52.
I inked all around the card with brn and rounded the corners.  I pop dotted the candle to give it more depth.  This card is very simple, but I like the way it came out

I made these tags for the FCCB challenge  "TAGS
I made the tags using the Ribbons ans Rosettte cart.   Its not the easiest cart to use.

Birthday Bash

I going to be doing a series of projects with different carts that I have.  The first cart that I will be using is
Birthday Bash.  I did the bird on page 21 and the layering.  I didn't like the saying with the hat, to I used Happy Birthday from another page. The card is a 4x5 size card.  I'm hoping to be able to use alot of my scraps for these projects.  Here is the first card.
